Excellent oral health is vital to a child’s development.

Let's make your child’s dental health a priority!

Our Services

  • Preventing dental issues is our passion at Children’s Dentistry and we make it our priority to see that every child that walks through our door is prepared and equipped with good oral health habits for a lifetime of healthy smiles.

  • Begin daily brushing as soon as the child’s first tooth erupts. By age 4 or 5, children should be able to brush their own teeth twice a day with supervision until around age 8. However, each child is different. We can help you determine when your child is brushing properly.

  • Cavities develop when there is a breakdown of the enamel, covering of the tooth, due to bacteria. Cavities are holes in the teeth which lead to destruction of the overall oral health of your child.

A variety of things can lead to cavities in children. While prevention is key, if cavities do occur, we can help stop the breakdown, or decay, by restoring your child’s tooth.

  • At Children’s Dentistry, we offer in-office general anesthesia. This is a safe and convenient option that allows your child to be calm and compliant for dental care and is a wonderful option for very young children, and/or those kids suffering from extensive dental cavities or a high level of anxiety.

  • Mouth trauma can be confusing for parents. Who treats it? Where do we go? As long as there is no signs of head trauma, broken bones or significant systemic trauma, your dentist is a good place to start. Please call our office (775) 462-3111, and we WILL help.
